LNG Project Delayed Again by State of Maine

Downeast LNG officials were denied in their bid to withdraw an application to build an LNG facility on the coast of Maine. They had hoped to withdraw the application and then re-submit it under more favorable conditions. Currently their project is under consideration but on the "slow track" for approval if it gets that far. See the Portland Press Herald news article "Developer rejected on LNG bid".
