GAO Report on Intel Fusion Centers

The U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) has released a report (GAO-08-05, October 30, 2007) on the status of the State and Local Information Fusion Centers established as a collaborative effort to detect, prevent, investigate, and respond to criminal and terrorist activity. There are a couple of pages that describe the status of Maine's Fusion Center (starts on page 76 on the report). The lead agencies of the Maine Intelligence and Analysis Center are the Maine State Police and the Maine Emergency Management Agency.
