Laptop Computers and Airport Screening Changes

It would appear that the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is working to make it easier for people traveling with laptop computers to get through airport security screening lines. Currently, if you travel with a laptop, you have to take it out of its carrying case and put it into a plastic bin to run through the airport X-ray machine. In the future, if you have a new laptop case that is X-ray friendly, you will be able to leave it in its case. Changes are expected to take place in a few months. Naturally, travelers will be expected to buy the new laptop computer carrying cases that are "TSA friendly". Those who don't buy the new case will still have to remove the laptop.
