TSA Testing Shoe Scanners for Airport Security

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has been testing various model shoe scanners using X-ray technology. The intent is to test and then introduce these shoe scanners at airport security screening points throughout the nation. This would allow airline passengers to keep their shoes on. You can read more about this TSA initiative by viewing the TSA blog - and it is a good explanation of shoe scanners if you want to learn more about that topic.
