Mounties Should Not Use Tasers says Former Commissioner

The former head of the Canadian Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) has stated that police should stop using tasers. While he initially supported the police use of tasers as a useful tool he has decided that some recent publicity has negated the perceived value of tasers and hurt the public view of police.
