Maine Prepares - A Website

The state of Maine has rolled out a new website. It is called http://www.maineprepares.com/ and is designed to provide information and resources to the Maine public on how to prepare for natural and man-made disasters. The website provides current storm warnings and watches, tips for preparing for bad weather, and methods of staying informed. It has sections for the home and family, school, business, community, and service organizations. There is also an online library filled with fact sheets that can be printed (printer friendly version) off the website. This is a great resource for emergency planners. If you are a security or safety official with contingency planning responsibilities then you will find the resources on this website helpful. Click here for more info on Maine emergency management agencies.
