Public Approves of Air Security Measures

A recent poll indicates that 70% of the American public believes the federal government is doing a good job with air travel security. Although the public does not like the process of getting through security they recognize the need for the security measures. The poll, conducted by Gallup, was taken of 2,800 people in the Sep/Oct 2008 time frame. To read more about this poll see "Poll: 70% applaud air-security effort", USA Today, December 8, 2008.
