School Security in Maine

The Kennebec County Emergency Management Agency is working with Kennebec County school districts to help them develop their "all-hazard" plans. The director of the Kennebec County Emergency Management Agency, Mr. Beausoleil, has provided information in an interview on this effort. He states today that schools need to be prepared for threats such as " . . . violent sexual predators, students with loaded guns, and hazardous chemical spills . . . ".
