Swine Influenza Update
The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issued a CDC Health Advisory on Swine Influenza (H1N1) on Sunday, April 25, 2009. Swine Flu is a respiratory disease of pigs caused by type A influenza that can cause outbreaks of flu among pigs. Swine flu viruses do not normally infect humans, however, human infections with swine flu do occur. There are cases where humans have spread the swine flu to other humans.
