Female Teenage Workers at Risk at Work

A surprising number of young female workers are at risk from male co-workers and supervisors when at work from unwanted sexual attention and sexual harassment. In 2005 the University of Maine conducted a study that showed the problem was much larger than thought. A comprehensive news article published shortly after that study has been re-posted and is available on seattlepi.com. Read "Is your daughter safe at work?". The federal government has recognized this as a growing problem and they have launched a website that attempts to provide more information on this topic. See http://www.youth.eeoc.gov/.
