Special Forces and Maine Medical Center Help Iraqi Girl


Members of a Special Forces team and medical personnel from Maine Medical Center worked together to save the life of an Iraqi girl in "Operation Good Heart". The young Iraqi girl needed heart surgery to live and with coordination and hard work she has received the necessary surgery and the six year-old girl has now returned to her family in Iraq. She was gone for a total of 60 days. The Special Forces Soldiers and medical personnel from Maine Medical Center were assisted by a host of other people and organizations to make this miracle happen.
