Maine Soldiers in Afghanistan - Convoy Security for 286th NG Bn

A Maine Army National Guard unit is doing dangerous convoy escort duty in Afghanistan.
As the war in Afghanistan heats up, Maine soldiers are increasingly being called on to perform dangerous missions. That's according to the Maine National Guard, which says that soldiers of the Maine Army National Guard's 286th Combat Support Sustainment Battalion are escorting trucks loaded with military supplies to operating bases under the threat of enemy fire.
