Maine Citizens Deny Maine Air National Guard Opportunity to Train Before Deployments Overseas

Citizens from Western Maine are more concerned with their being comfortable in their homes rather than supporting members of the Maine Air National Guard who will be fighting the War on Terror overseas. The Maine Air National Guard needs the ability to conduct low-level flight training. The obvious place to do this is in areas with a low density of population. However a group of citizens have banded together to fight the Maine Air National Guards ability to train for combat missions overseas. What ever happened to hearing a jet overhead, looking up, feeling your heart swell with pride, and saying "There goes the sound of freedom"?
