Maine's 286th CSSB (Army National Guard) In Huge Gun Battle with Taliban

An Army unit of the Maine National Guard was in a big gun battle with the Taliban in Afghanistan recently. Members of the 286th Combat Support Sustainment Battalion (CSSB) were moving supplies and equipment by convoy to a forward operating base when their convoy was ambushed. The unit members were engaged in a 9 hour long battle with insurgents and several received wounds.
