Distracted Drivers Cause 6,000 Deaths
The federal government is reporting that almost 6,000 people were killed in auto accidents last year that were caused by drivers operating a cell phone or trying to text message while driving. The government says the deaths are climbing steadily and will reach epidemic proportions.
