Maine Governor Not Supporting Air Guard's Need for Training Areas

Maine's governor is not supporting the Air National Guard's need for training areas. The Condor Military Operating Area of western Maine is a valuable training resource for low-level flight training. However, there are those in Maine who feel that the noise associated with aircraft overhead training for combat missions is unnecessary. I always thought that was "the sound of freedom".
