Confusing the Terrorists Means Confusing Passengers as Well
Have you ever wondered why one airport requires checking your identification three times while another airport does it once? Or one screener has you remove your shoes while another lets you keep them on? Sometimes it would seem the TSA does not know what it is doing! Federal authorities are reluctant to release what new security measures will be put in place. If these new procedures are known then it is easier for terrorists to account for them. If the measures differ from airport to airport and airline to airline then that is also very confusing. So while the passenger may be confused so are any potential trouble-makers who are intent on blowing up an airplane with everyone on it. Of course, one question is whether the TSA is smart enough to figure this out or are THEY just confused.
