A Million Soldiers Greeted At Bangor International Airport
A million Soldiers have passed through Bangor International Airport (BIA) on their way to or coming home from the war zones in Afghanistan, Iraq and other locations. The millionth Soldier came in shortly before 1 a.m. on Monday and, as is the usual procedure, was greeted by the Maine troop greeters. The troop greeters have been present for almost every flight - and have missed very few. Almost every flight is met no matter what time of day or night or what the weather is like.
