Traveling Safe in the World's Danger Zones

As the world economy becomes more inter-connected large and small corporations are sending their employees overseas to work on their behalf.  Some of these employees end up in places one could call dangerous.  It used to be that corporations would spend money on protecting executives - but the common field service technician, salesperson, or middle-management employee would get an airline ticket and be told to "be careful".  Nowadays corporations are making an effort to protect all of their employees who travel to dangerous locations in other countries.  Read a recent article on this topic in "Companies try efforts to protect workers in world's danger zones", USA Today Travel, August 24, 2010.  Click here for travel security information.
