Rules for Medical Evacuation Helicopters to Tighten Up
A recent news article discusses the topic of increased regulation for medical air ambulances. The effort of increased rules is a result of a number of crashes that have claimed lives in the past few years. The Federal Aviation Administration intends to impose restrictions on flying in bad weather and to increase standards for pilots. The medevac industry is opposed to the new rules.
