CAT-BPSS or New ID Scanners for TSA

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is spending about $3.2 million dollars on a new system to verify IDs and boarding passes at airports. With today's technology it is easy to fabricate fake IDs and boarding passes (now printed off at home). The new devices are know as Credential Authentication Technology - Boarding Pass Scanning Systems (CAT-BPSS).
