Black Box Data Recorders Mandatory by Sep 2014
By September 1, 2014 all new vehicles sold are required to have black box data recorders installed. These data recorders will track specific information about your vehicle and your driving habits to include speeds, seat belt wearing, and more. Safety experts say this is key to developing safer cars but privacy advocates worry that the government (and others) are getting too much information about us.
