Dexter Man Killed in Afghanistan
Former Knox County Sheriff Deputy and Dexter resident Corey Dodge was one of three American contractors working for DynCorp in Afghanistan who were killed during a suicide vehicle borne improvised explosive device (SVBIED) attack on their convoy on Saturday, August 22nd. He is survived by his wife and their four children. Twelve people died and 66 people were injured during the bombing.
